DAILY TRANSPORTATION : CALL 732-390- 6896

  • Transportation to and from the Senior Center is available Monday through Friday for members who have no other means of getting to the Center.
  • All calls for transportation must be made between 8:15 and 9:00 am on the day needed. The buses begin their pick ups at 9:30 am and begin the return trip home at 2:30 pm. Please be ready to be picked up by 9:30 since the routes vary. If you need a ride home only, please call in the morning.
  • Passengers must be able to board and disembark the bus without assistance from the driver in order to ride the bus.
  • If you rode the bus in the morning and have changed your plans regarding your ride home, please let us know by signing the form in the office.

SHOPPING TRANSPORTATION:

  • Transportation from the Senior Center to supermarkets is generally on Tuesday and Thursday at 12:30 unless noted otherwise.
  • Call for shopping transportation between 8:15 and 9:00 am on the day you wish to go shopping. Please limit your bags to 3 You are responsible to handle your own bags

MALL TRANSPORTATION:

  • Transport directly to and from local shopping malls usually on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. Call or sign up in the office the day before to reserve a seat on the bus. Buses begin their pick-ups at 9:00 am and leave the mall at 2:00 pm.

MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION:

Medical Transportation is used for non-emergency appointments only. The Doctor's appointment must be located in the following towns:

  • New Brunswick
  • East Brunswick
  • North Brunswick
  • Milltown
  • South River
  • Old Bridge Hospital & Throckmorton Lane Doctors

There is a small co-pay.

If you have a financial hardship an appointment can be made to discuss this with the Director.

Please call the Senior Center to schedule a cab no later than 2 working days in advance but no more than thirty (30) days in advance.
